New BANT Healthy Eating Plates Revealed and Up for Consultation

**STOP PRESS** BANT sets the agenda on updating healthy eating advice as Public Health England asks the Association for Nutrition to lead a group to revise the Eatwell Plate and 5 A Day guidelines. BANT has created a new resource for its members –  a set of dietary advice plates. BANT is calling on members to provide feedback during a two month consultation period. These visual tools have been developed in response to member requests for such support. These plates are an alternative to the outdated Eatwell Plate. There are two plates – one for maintaining healthy weight and another for those who need to fight the flab and/or beat the bloat. BANT will also be consulting other organisations that may want to adopt the new plates.
