Looking for a speaker ?

We have access to nearly 3,500 practising members across the country to support any national, regional or local events and nutrition-related health news, articles and features.

If you are looking for particular expertise, we have practitioners that specialise in a variety of fields, including digestion and gut health, metabolic health, IBS, weight loss, autoimmune conditions, women’s and children’s health, menopause, bone health, sports nutrition and mental health.

Journalists and the media

The British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) offers journalists and broadcast media access to science-based nutrition information and comments on current nutrition issues. During office hours (9am – 3pm, Monday to Friday) our communications manager, an MSc Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner will be available via email to provide expert comments, quotes and analysis, discuss story ideas, and deal with enquiries regarding press, TV or radio interviews, and can refer enquiries to the relevant expert within the field.

BANT hosts an open-access Nutrition Evidence Database (NED) providing healthcare professionals and journalists the latest nutrition research. Our scientific editorial board and expert reviewers are all available for comment, alongside over 3500 BANT Nutrition Practitioners throughout the UK.
