BANT Events 2025

Our March, June and November events are focused upon equipping nutrition and lifestyle medicine practitioners with new knowledge and insights together with the confidence to apply these within their practice. All nutrition and lifestyle medicine practitioners are welcomed.

Our Nutrition Evidence (NED) Science Forum event focuses on nutrition and lifestyle sciences – what’s new, critical analysis, new research initiatives and how to contribute to the evidence as part of your clinical practice. With a keynote presentation from an industry expert and plenty of time for networking, this is an event for all nutrition and lifestyle medicine practitioners, as well as researchers and policy makers.

Each event features:

  • What are subclinical thyroid disorders and what are clinical thyroid diseases?
  • What are the causal factors for dysregulation?
  • What are the key differences in thyroid health for specific populations, such as pregnancy, postpartum, paediatric and older adults?

The Battle of the Polyphenols

  • Professor Justin Roberts – Keynote presentation on the role of polyphenols in human health and nutritional therapy practice
  • Polyphenol pitches from industry scientists. May include:
    • Curcumin, Resveratrol, Quercetin, Mushroom polyphenols, others
  • Panel discussion and debate with presenters, including questions from the audience
  • Announcement: The top polyphenol plus the winner of a polyphenol prize

The Art and the Science of Nutritional Therapy

  • Tanya Borowski – The Art of Nutritional Therapy
  • Dr Michelle Barrow – Key Questions publication on nutrition and thyroid – the science of diet, key nutrients, lifestyle and testing to support thyroid health
  • Clare Grundel – What impact does the practice of personalised nutrition have on digestive health – interim data from the BANT research study

Networking and Gala Evening

This event includes quality time with event attendees and sponsors and concludes with a drinks gala evening in the Cavendish Room of the Royal Society of Medicine.

Neurodiversity
