Email us at <a href=\"mailto:students@bant.org.uk\">students@bant.org.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Government launches \u2018One You\u2019 campaign<br \/>\n<\/strong>On the 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March, Public Health England launched its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/phe-launches-one-you\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new campaign<\/a>\u00a0designed to \u2018help adults to\u00a0avoid future diseases caused by modern day life\u2019. Give their \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/oneyou\/hay#wJGflXIhSAsDe4Tr.97\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How Are You<\/a>\u2019 quiz a go. Over half of 40-60 year olds said that the feedback given by the quiz was likely to change their behaviour for the positive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Are we using the <em>P\u00a0<\/em>value correctly?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Also in this week\u2019s news, the good old\u00a0<em>P\u00a0<\/em>value. Love it or hate it, it is an integral part of evidence-based practice, the foundation\u00a0on which nutritional therapy is built. But is it always being used correctly? The American Statistical Association (ASA) thinks\u00a0not, and has released a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amstat.org\/newsroom\/pressreleases\/P-ValueStatement.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>\u00a0to say so. They have taken the unusual step of publishing six principles to guide the use of the\u00a0<em>P\u00a0<\/em>value.
