We are delighted to inform you that BANT\u2019s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on\u00a0Saturday 22nd May 2021\u00a0<\/strong>online.<\/p>\n

Due to the gradual lifting of restrictions for group events, BANT and NMI agreed early on that the 2021 AGM\/Conference will be held virtually. 2020 gave us many learning opportunities, including the use of more sophisticated virtual conference software, which with better planning and time, is better set up for 2021. We are very much looking forward to the AGM to showcase some of the work the BANT team has done on your behalf.<\/p>\n

The last few years have seen the growth and reach of nutrition and lifestyle medicine make the headlines more than ever. Many have spurred into action to improve their wellbeing, whether because they had time available during COVID lockdowns or were scared of the virus. Either way, this positions BANT members perfectly to support both individuals and groups to improve their wellbeing.<\/p>\n

BANT is the largest professional body for Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioners in one-to-one clinical practice and as a self-regulator for BANT Registered Nutritionists\u00ae. As a BANT member, you are recognised as having achieved high standards of education and professional practice to protect the client\u2019s interests. These skills and recognition are at the core of BANT\u2019s actions to promote and safeguard BANT members standing and service offering.<\/p>\n

At the AGM, you will receive a succinct update of our 2020 projects and initiatives and where we will focus our efforts in 2021. You have already seen BANT launch a public-facing campaign this year called\u00a0\u2018Food for your Health\u2019<\/strong>, with accompanying member resources and more to come. With your help, we have prioritised our efforts based on the priorities you chose over the last three years in the short survey linked to the renewal process. Thank you!<\/p>\n
