This is the first time that BANT has launched a public-facing initiative so it has special significance and there has never been a better time to push the personalised nutrition agenda. We have an ambitious goal for BANT Members to become the go-to practitioners for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine and to become more widely recognised by the public as experts in nutrition. The campaign is the perfect platform to promote nutritional therapy and a food-first ethos.

This final members “Food for your Health” campaign pack is dedicated to cholesterol dysregulation and hypertension as the remaining symptoms of diet-induced metabolic dysregulation. The pack includes 2 info sheets, and 2 NED Info Bites. Alongside these you will find a campaign FAQ sheet with all the rationale behind the campaign. As with the previous campaign packs, the time spent reading these resources can be logged as CPD.

As we countdown to launch we are busy putting the finishing touches to our communication plan and developing dedicated campaign pages on the website. These pages will act as the campaign hub for members of the public to visit and download free resources such as information sheets, infographics, food guides and recipes. You may have seen the recent call-to-action on the members Facebook page asking for recipes so please use the template provided in the dropbox folder if you wish to contribute and send your recipe to ffyhcampaign@bant.org.uk.

We are simultaneously developing member campaign pages with additional resources to support you in clinical practice. These will go live on Monday 22nd February, as our radio campaign goes on air. We’ll share the schedule for the radio campaign as soon as it’s available. We’ll also be releasing the social media toolkit with a series of graphics for you to use across IG, Facebook and LinkedIn. Help us spread the word by posting and regularly using the campaign # hashtags so together we can grow the momentum to improve the nation’s food choices for health and wellbeing.

There is plenty to look forward to. See you at the launch!

Click here to access the full eblast.

It’s nearly time to go LIVE!
