Choosing a Business Name:<\/i> Top<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

Where a limited company (Ltd) or limited liability partnership (LLP) is formed, or where a trading name is used (whether a company, an individual or a group of individuals), it must comply with the provisions of the The Company, Limited Liability Partnership and Business (Names and Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2015<\/a>. Insurance Policies:<\/i> Top<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

Full members must have professional indemnity insurance as required by CNHC and BANT. Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (NTs) are personally liable for any breach of duty or harm to their clients and must ensure they are adequately insured against professional negligence, or any other claim made by a member of the public, against them and any staff who work on their premises. \u00a0This insurance must cover all therapies practised and must be able to cover the legal costs of defending any action against the practitioner.<\/p>\n

Under the Occupier’s Liability Act (1957)<\/a>, members must ensure they are adequately insured against accidents occurring on any premises owned and\/or used for practice, whether at home or in a clinic at another premises.<\/p>\n
