By working together, members of the Alliance are better placed to achieve the common goals of preventing falls and fractures and, specifically, reducing the rate of hospital admissions for hip fractures and for falls-related injuries among older people.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BANT submitted its declaration of support to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nos.org.uk\/document.doc?id=1221\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Falls and Fractures Alliance set up by Age UK and the National Osteoporosis Society &#8211; 16 October 2012<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Which? Investigation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In December 2011, Which? conducted an undercover investigation into nutritional therapy, the results of which were published in their magazine in January 2012.
