My interest in nutrition inspired me to take two degrees alongside each other, one was in Bioscience Nutrition (BSc) at London South Bank University. The other was Nutritional Therapy (Foundation Degree)at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition.
Since being fully qualified I have worked with a clinical nutrition team for 6 years supporting practitioners with research on nutrition, health and supplementation.
I now work for a catering company writing school dinner and nursery menus to ensure they reach the highest soil association standards. As part of my role I provide workshops for schools, colleges, business and care. The workshops are by far one of the most rewarding part of this role as I get to interact with a wide range of people finding out what makes them tick. The workshops are a great interactive way to find ways to achieve healthy eating that is practical, achievable, enjoyable and fun.
I also run a blog and write nutritional support posts for a local yoga newsletter and magazines and recently provided talks for:
